I have a 2TB Ext HDD 1021 that recently stopped being recognized by both Windows & Mac machines. The drive appears in Disk Management as a physical drive but not as a volume. It says it's an active and healthy primary partition but I can't access the drive. Similiarly, the DiskPart utility sees the disk but not the volume. I've tried to find the partitions using Find and Mount software but nothing appears. I'm now running WD Data LifeGuard Diagnostics which have to date not shown anything unusual - everything has passed so far. The drive is on and spinning as well. Do I have any options for finding and recovering the data?
